I blew through this story in a day and OH MY GOD. So good. I fell in love with Artie and I love the friendships she formed with Bucky (my heart!) and Howard. And ESPECIALLY Peggy. The world needs more girl power friendships. I wanted a Steve/OC and I GOT SO MUCH MORE! Two thumbs way up from me.

I didn't realise there was prequel to ''We are the Warriors''! Wow! I was in the middle of reading the sequel without my knowing it! I was just thinking of how it would be wonderful for you to have written pre-Captain America. So, I checked just to see and voila! Thanks for this!

Jesus Christ.. I cannot imagine how weird and scary it must be to wake up to our world as it is today while being used to something else entirely. They didn't show Steve having to cope with it and getting to know it all in the movies and I feel like it's incredibly hard and nerve-wracking. Interesting of course, to some degree. But scary as hell.
And YES, DAMMIT, I will definitely check out the sequel. And I will save me a link to this story right here, so I can come back and read it again and again whenever I'd like. I really loved it a lot, it was so much better than I imagined, I love everything about it, really. Fucking hell, I'm crying so hard right now! I can't even focus on the rest of the chapter because that last bit just broke me. Like it always does.
Thing is, when I'm really into a story I read it as though I am a character in that story.. I feel everything and totally immerse in the story.. It's so great.

Omg this is so awesome! I'm so excited, holy moly! I wish I could give you anonymous kudos - why isn't this a thing here?! I, I, I don't know what to say, I never thought I'd love this story so much... Damn. And if it goes on like this.. Well, tbh I wasn't sure if I was going to read the sequel to this or not but DAMMIT now I HAVE TO! Okay. Let me finish this piece right here first, my god.

And, have I ever mentioned how much I actually love Howard? Your Howard? He's so amazing and I also love his relationship with Art. I love everyone's relationship with Art, honestly. She is so well included in the story and everything... I'm now really sad this isn't canon.. Dear lord, what have you done! I will never be able to watch Captain America ever again. Lol, okay, whatever. I'll just read this story again instead of watching the movie, that's fine by me.

What a sad little chapter in honor of our beloved Bucky. He will be back but it's still sad. And you can say that Bucky is in fact kind of dead. The Winter Soldier will be born but.. yes. It won't ever be the same.
And Schmidt! What's he gonna do with Art?! I have an idea but I'm not sure you'll go that way... I'll see! ;)

But honestly, I have to say it again, you write so well! This story is so much better than I thought it would be. And about this one concern I had in the beginning - you don't just rewrite the plot and conversations from the movie but take it as a base and make up your own around it. Which is exactly what I'm looking for. Honestly, this is so good. So much more than I was expecting. I love everything about this!

Howard is a mastermind, part time working as Cupid's assistant. He's a genius. Simple as that. And totally shipping START :D
And how nice is it that she was actually able to go back and live out her feminine side once?! Very very nice. And now everybody has seen her. Hehe. And oh my, how cute was the "gorgeous"-part? AND THE END SEQUENCE! Awwww

Ps. I'm scared of the scene where Bucky "dies". I've been ignoring it for the last couple of chapters, acting as if it would never ever happen. But well, it's pretty important to the future and the story itself, so... Omg. Noooo...
