Great fic! I really liked some of your vivid descriptions, like the skeletal trees. There were a few tell-not-show moments from Dick, like "It did puzzle him", which is sort of implied by his dialogue anyway, but your characterisation of DD is a lot of fun and I enjoyed this. (As an aside, the middle justification looks a bit odd.) Keep writing x
