I just rediscovered this story recently and wow your writing has improved so much! The rewriting of this story flows better and the new chapters are intriguing. Look forward to reading all of the new Jily moments

Loved this chapter, I thought maybe Lily might be coerced into torturing Dearborn but I'm glad she didn't. James seemed softer in a way despite doing such horrible things in this chapter. So eager for the next chapters.

As much as I would love to read this chapter in James' POV, I really need to know what is going to happen next! Jily is going to be the death of me. I need Remus and Marlene back too!

Honestly I'm not mad at Sirius at all for pushing Lily into doing something rather than letting others cover for her. She has been playing this fence for too long and I'm glad that Sirius is finally forcing her to do something that she is (hopefully) going to regret and it will force her to pick her side and actually do something on her own terms. I feel like I say this all the time, but thank gosh for Sirius because where would Lily and, by extension, James be without him?!

It's so disgusting, so painful to read- but great writing. who knew that reading such a dark fic would take an emotional toll? But you're a great story teller.
I still can't believe that she's stupid enough to find comfort in James after he raped her, but I'm guessing that her dark upbringing may cause her to view it differently. Ew. I hate it but I can't stop reading it because it's so different and well written!

Oh my god. My god, I can’t even comprehend... WHAT JUST HAPPENED. OMG I was internally doing the happy dance at the jily moments! How sweet James fixed her nail and letting her lie on his shoulder.
Until I saw the dark James and Sirius omg so intense. Lily is as confused as me... what’s going to happen! And in the end of the chapter the jily moment... aaahhh. So many emotions!

Hi!’ I’m back just wanted to leave a review because I keep forgetting that I haven’t already I’m so sorry, I don’t know hen yet next updating but absolutely no rush!

First of all wow the Jily scenes have me shook, I can’t wait to see more of their interactions, I really get the sense that James would literally die for her, and it kind of makes me wonder when lily will realise it.

Sirius and Lily’s relationship too, the dynamics are indeed Uk and having all these characters immersed together run malfoy manor wow it makes for an amazing, the tension is incredible!

I really can’t wait to see what happens next fic, I kind of get the feeling that they’ll do most of the dirty work but I’m intrigued to see how far lily will go/ fall in her plan to be double agent?

Sirius/Lily deal made me happy even though I really want to see how lily will actually react when she meets marlene.. oh I can’t ecen imagine how pissed lily will be if she knows that Marlene was under the confundus and the love potion. Can’t wait for the next action scene! I just love reading your action scenes! It’s so vivid!

Ok the fact that Sirius said he's known Lily's heart and soul for years was fantastic. At the beginning of this fic you us convinced that Lily avoids Sirius at all costs and doesn't have anything to do with him but now we see that Sirius definitely doesn't feel the same way no matter what he says. He if really wanted nothing to do with Lily he could so easily go to Voldemort and finish her and then he wouldn't have to worry about Lily taking Marlene from him but despite all of that incentive and his blatant claim to know her, he strikes a deal with her instead. I love it. He's not just a 2D side character in the Lily and James story but has some serious (pun intended) depth to him. Ugh I love Sirius.

As for James, where do I begin? I'm so conflicted about him tbh. While I love classic James Potter and your version definitely has the 'classic' moments, I struggle with the the whole 5th year thing (still, I know my morals don't forget). Which is what I'm hoping you are trying to achieve with this whole fic: an entire sense of moral ambiguity. Because I'm definitely feeling that. The scene where James brushes a leaf out of Lily's hair I'm basically screaming at him to just kiss her but then she's also reminding the reader that he's the one to both ruin her and then save her and I'm like oh yeah right...

Anyway this chapter was great.

Also I'm in agreement with you I could kill for an earl grey with tapioca bubbles!

(I also forgot to mention that I love how a main character is level headed and proud enough to see Dumbledore’s selective attention and understand him as a flawed person, and indirectly driving people towards his enemies by trying to mastermind every situation! I’m a sucker for flawed!Dumbledore, it’s such an interesting plot point that I feel like a lot of people don’t talk about!)
