Since I was just reading Marx fic earlier I decided to reread this. All along, Dave asks himself if it's worth it. I think I counted 7 times, but I could be wrong. I wonder if he'll put that phone away, if she'll see him question himself. And not like the hesitation before attacking.

I need to stop reading and sleep. Smh. I'm getting all analytical with crap.

Interesting. Has a lot of potential as a dark kick ass fic. I actually hope you play here more someday.

This is a HUGE "What if" scenario!
I mean wow! Dave gives up everything for Mindy, his entire life to be with her. To be the only person she can trust, the only person she wants to have in her life. Dave makes some incredible changes too. He becomes something he never thought he could. He becomes cold. He longer cares about letting the criminals live. That was the one thing that separated him from Mindy, their personal views on "needless" killing. But now, he's become a completely different person. To the point where he's a fugitive, running from his family, the Police, his friends. She truly has gotten under his skin. To the point where so much time has passed, that they are no longer just friends. Where Mindy has gotten what she truly wants. And Dave has finally found it all to have been worth it.
This was a truly interesting read! How their lives have completely changed because of their decision. How Mindy has made him into killer. How all they have now is each other. Here, she truly has become toxic. A drug that Dave cannot get enough of.
I enjoyed this story, very much!

Well this got dark really fast, severed head puppet? lol
I also felt sorry for them when they had to either fight or flee from justice forever.

Wow, this is sad. I guess it was easier for Dave to follow Mindy into depths of her madness rather than pull her out of it. Still, it could be worse

great one shot it is as usual awesome. Interesting word to describe Mindy wth, maybe the kind of toxic you cant live without in daves' case

Love this... And not just any knives, these were real, Crocodile-Dundee-"this is a knife" knives. I liked the feel of them. They had weight to them.

I guess she did the same thing BD did to her. Sigh. Toxic.
