This is, without a doubt, one of the most interesting and most worthwhile Yami/Kaiba fics I've read and now I'm intensely curious to know if there's a sequel... where maybe we meet Pharaoh Atem with current Atem and... I don't know. I've been interested in the thought of past selves meeting future selves and how each will react. I just think that you'd be the one capable of doing such a thing cuz your crazy talented and I've already decided to read your tremendously wonderful fics!

This was a really good story! You should be very proud of it! It was full with the perfect mixture of love, mystery, angst and humor. The writing seemed to flow so nicely! I don't know how you did it :)

I really liked it, loved it more to be exact, and I hope you're still writing, yes? You had better be, or I'll come around with a paint brush, oil paints, a canvas and a magical glowing stony thing. Then we'll see how your attitude changes hmm?

Wow! I did not expect Dartz at all! Great twist! I really like how it fits in with the whole mystical element to Yu-Gi-Oh! I also like how sort of awkward Kaiba and Yami are with each other – especially how Yami is worried that by having the portrait he’s intruded on Kaiba’s privacy. I like what that says about his sense of honor. And it was wickedly funny back in Chapter 5 when Yami wonders how much Kaiba was aware of through the picture – and then Kaiba tells him he doesn’t like the name Harry.

I really like the eerie tone this story has so far and how the picture seems so alive. I like the way Atem and Kaiba seem able to communicate.

I have to say i really like this, it probably had one of the most interesting stories to it compared to others of the same pairing!

Wow. I like the way this wrapped up. You really captured Dartz's motives and drives - I felt, at least - the way he hit me with Atlantis. Good job with that; I'm not sure I could've gotten into his head very well to do him justice, but this turned out nicely. I'm glad Atem didn't end up working with him in the end either. I was curious to see the effect the relief of this resolution had on Isis and her family, but that hadn't been the focus of the story anyhow.

And this fluff? Not lame. Cute. ...if you can call a scene with Seto freaking Kaiba in it cute. Amusing, to say the least. And I couldn't help but laugh at Seto's "...not really into that kind of thing..." line.

As always, I've enjoyed this, and I'm a bit sad to see it end. Looking forward to what you have to put out there next! Thanks for another great story!

I expected them to fail . . . but I'm glad they didn't. Cause now they're in bed together. But I still worry about that painting. Even if Seto isn't bound to it anymore, who's to say that Dartz isn't using it to spy on him?

Things are progressing quickly! It's really good and the explanation about the crystal was quite great. Seto is impatient to finish this as soon as possible, and we can understand him. He's been enlisted in Dartz' scheme for too long.
I think Atem's refusal to use a gun is in character. I mean he's never held a weapon before and he's not the type to resort to such things when things turn bad. But he accepts Seto's choice to keep it just in case even if he dreads the moment.

Mokuba was just too cute and his forwardness is endearing. xD

You left the chapter on a cliffhanger! That was quite a turnaround, I expected something to happen (otherwise it would be too easy) but I didn't think it would be Dartz blackmailing Atem through Seto. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Interesting chapter, I'm totally unsurprised that Seto would come up with something to destroy the crystal and I think I want Atem to go on and use it. If he can destroy the link it will free him...unless of course it needs recalibrating and doesn't work quickly enough...hmm...waiting with interest ;)

Wow. That was... Just wow. (In a good way, that is.) Personally, I didn't see this as exactly predictable. I figured something would have to get in their way, but I certainly didn't see it going down like that.

I think you've put Kaiba into such an unusual position with this whole story that you might be allowed certain character liberties, and the way you've mapped out his reactions and your reasoning behind it all is logical, so by my own standards at least, I'd say you're doing great with what you've given yourself.

As usual, I loved the little Mokuba bits. It adds a lot to the story. And the way you have him helping out his big brother in this chapter I feel is accurately adorable. I always loved the way the kid seems to follow him with so much respect that the way he obeys his requests with enthusiasm seems exactly fitting.

You have me on the edge of my seat for this one, I must admit. Looking forward to the next chapter might be a bit of an understatement. :)
