I like the story, both versions, but you might want to change this a little more, such as making his wife the lowest magical possible. Or because of the ceremony, Emma is a witch with the lowest setting & Dan is a squib value.

You have a few errors. You need to reread the chapter to correct. Still Love the story.

There's nothing odd about the owner of a tourist attraction closing it for either maintenance or a private event, so your reasoning for not using the castle in Kent for the wedding falls flat.

OK, great ending to this chapter. But, referring back to having read the alternate story, in that version, this is not mentioned again nor do the characters take advantage of their now unbound power levels.
Why bring it up if it is not germane to the outcome?

I have read the alternate story and to read it again just seems to makes the act more painful! Having sex on top of hard, rough, weather beaten, sandstone, Uluru?
His poor, aching, bloody (literally) knees! Let alone having her back ground into a mess.
