I expected that somewhere along the line Izuna's child would be mentioned or become a possibility. I just don't know, right now, what it would do, what it would have done differently. What would have happened had she let Madara know.

I didn't even realize that this was the last chapter. I was looking forward to seeing what would have happened next. But this is perfect in its own way. It feels complete even in its incomplete-ness.
Everything that went down, everything you've written, every character you have portrayed and created, I have felt everything in the world for them. And they don't even actually exust. Like we know NOTHING about Sasuke Sarutobi, except for a name, and here you have him standing fully fleshed out and such outstanding of a character. Him, having to rejoin his clan and enter them into the alliance would have been AMAZING to c later on.

Tobirama, who at the time was but a name, you gave him a persona. You REAL. I can't tell you how much I loved what you did with his character and what you did with Izuna's character. I don't htink they particularly hated each other, but neither do I think they were friends or felt any friendly feelings towards each other. the 1000 years of bloodshed was fresh between them but that they were more realistic than their brothers combined and that they had just accepted this as their fate. The depth that you gave their relationship, i never could have like even thought. I mean of course I THOUGHT OF THEM. But, we were never really given an insight into the two of them. It was always Madara and Hashirama.

Furthermore, all the other characters that you created yourself, like they were just random names and faces but you gave them life and made me FEEL for them. And all the plotlines you've created with all these side characters, giving them their own goals and thoughts and feelings. Like they're all DIFFERENT from each other. Never once did I feel like Sasuke is a knock off of Hashirama since he's so cheerful and full of life and jokes. Like not ONCE.

I don't have enough words to describe how good this has been to read. i am glad I read it. And I guess, also glad that like many great fics it is forever incomplete, a perfect screenshot.

I love, i cannot emphasize enough on the LOVE, I love what you've done with Tobirama's character. How you have painted him... I guess you didn't know at the time of writing this but it was actually Tobirama that CREATED the shadow clone Jutsu eheheheheh. reading about it in that chapter with Sasuke's fight I had to stop myself from chuckling a little, because Tobirama is and was so badass that he literally created more than half of the jutsu the shinobi of the future use so freely. Like what a man tobi was.

I feel really sorry for my main boi Hashirama, I hope he ets more soptlight in the future and he and Mito can draw closer together and fall in love. THANKSS BYE

I don't know where to begin with this chapter. Every. single. thing about this was great. I can't believe there were no reactions to what Tobirama and Izuna acomplished. it must have been a sight to see. tobirama wielding the sea with Izuna at his feat. The Senju and Uchiha could have marvelled at their sheer power- just like the combiination of their power and the destruction they could wreck. They would have found the other clan even more daunting than before but what really would have haunted them would have been the sight of the two brothers actually working together. MAN it would have been awesome.

I wish I had gotten to see more of Hashirama and Mito interact more during battle. Maybe they could have falleen in sync with each other more.

You paint such a pretty piicture with your words. I could imaine the entire scene, literally word for word. When the shouting began. How they must have tossed out bed and sprinted outside, how the other Uchiha (LMAO i am really bad wiht names. Found them, and guessed they might have been together but said nothing) The fight they shared briefly before her finding her father and Hashirama. And the tru unrelenting support and conviction she received from hashirama... man I literally felt it!

And also the scene with Izuna and Madara, where their foreheads touched.. oh man. the feels were strong. I am really sad to see what will happen in a place that was so beautiful. I hoope it can stay intact. I hope the Uchiha and Senju are able to hold off their grudges to fight a common enemy. But the pleasentries have to end soon enough. IZuna will die by Tobirama's hand and all of this will fall

I waited so long for Mito to FINALLY meet this man. This man that is feared by many and hated by the Uchiha she just bled with on the battlefield and I was so scared to see her perception of him. But she's right, lookingg at this man, she never could hate him. could she? He was Hashirama, he just had that air around him. To be light and airy and present and so... weirdly fleeting but solid.

MANNN was this dramatic but man did I feel it in that fight with Izuna when his sister stepped in to protect him- my heart couldn't handle this. .

I was thoroughly surprised by Mito's endurance throughout this battle

EEEEEP. tbh, i had almost forgotten about the actual Uchiha son and dind't expect him to be the one creeping up on Mito and Madara.
I also love what you've done with the Uchiha girl, she's so well written and poised and her only flaw is that she wasn't born the male heir her father needed. But he loves her all the same.

You painted such an enchanting picture of the two of them at night. Mito must have looked so incredibly beautiful with her long red hair flowin at the back

The anime had somewhat of a similar battle but of course Tajima had been the father all along and TObi's narration through it all had been haunting. Thaat both the clan leaders were equally matched, all that was left was Izuna and Tobirama and they knew if either one of the other's child fell, in a rage and blur of emotions they were bound to make a mistake- man it was epic. But so was this, so was your writing. The fact that Hashirama and madara had to fight at all, their promise tat was exchanged amidst a fight, brought more meaning.

This was such GOOD writing. I am in awe

You can't be faulted for how they first met since it wasn't released at the time.
Also im still not sure that if the 7 year old that died was their brother afterall... But you weren't wrong Hashirama reacted almost the same way to the death ofhis actual younger brother. And this scene went down almost exactly the same way

Madara not bein the son of the leader and being the underdog-in a way-has added an extra layer of depth to his character

If this happened before the thing with the beach does that mean Madara was also around 14/15 at the time? Are Hashirama and madara the same age? Honestly I can never really understand naruto timelines they're all such a mush.

But reading through the Senju brothers' chapter was amazing. You wrote them so wonderfully.

I am so incredibly excited to FINALLY read this. It has been years, back in the day when I stumbled upon this. Life was too demanding and I couldn't even get through the first paragraph and I'd lose this amidst a sea of things. But I am so surprised to have come across this after all these years!

I am a little wary though because I absolutely love and adore Hashirama and Mito Uzumaki. I am kind of low key scared of they would meet within your writing and story and how their relationship would be set against hers and madara's.
Such a good imagery you set with the last scene of these two

Im really amazed at how you keep up so much with the canon. Like small details how madara doesn't have a heir but izuna does. Or how the peace treaty ends was kinda similar with manga. I dont know. This story is amazing in its own way.
