example from ur story :
She seemed to be finished but he waited for more but he took her hand and pushed her to go on

should be:
She seemed to have finished, thought he waited for more. So, he urged her to go on. (the word but shouldnt have been used at all let alone twice to contradict what u literally just said. "but he waited, but he pushed her" is a contradiction. how can he wait but push her to continue.
