I absolutely loved this fic! It was beautifully written and not at all out of character, like a lot of jily fanfictions are.

Just reread this and it's even better than I remembered! I love Jily, but can't stand the way most fanfic writers protest them, with James harassing Lily by asking her out everyday, Lily having no sense of humor, and James never feeling sorry for his mistakes. You portrayed them just the way I feel like they should be portrayed: James as a prankster but a good person, and Lily as a sweet girl with a snarky side who followed the rules but knew how to break them. I loved how they became friends before they really fell in love, I just loved everything!

Omg I'm dying this was so cute! AHHH I could literally write a book about how this fic was perfect in every way possible! It was cute, heartbreaking, fluffy, HEARTBREAKING, and you know how it goes XD

Ahhhh this is so great! I really prefer fics that don't have James asking Lily out every single day -_- I believe that he didn't even ask her out before Snape's Worst Memory and that he didn't follow her around all the time. I like how you wrote James, thanks for making him sound like a real boy as opposed to people who make him into his demonic psycho who bullied people everyday :(
I also really like that Lily wasn't an uptight, avid rule follower. Just because she was made Head Girl doesn't mean she's like Percy or Hermione! This girl jumped off swings even when her mother said no, she certainly wasn't a stickle who screamed at rule breakers all the time. I like that she had fun and that she joked around.
I love seeing the progression of their relationship from housemates to friends to lovers. I like how James realized his feelings for her and how he dealt with it. I like how they reconciled after the scene by the lake, I like their bonding moment after the Quidditch match and I love how they finally got together in Seventh Year :') how James just told her that he loved her ugh yes :')

that is...amaaaaazing. I love how you changed it. It feels so right. It feels like the real story but it has less big drama and more reality, if you know what I mean. Somehow, you made that 'one time asking lily out' work so well. I could never do what you did. It's well plotted and well laid out.
This was a nice change from all the other fanfics. Great work! Sweet, satisfying and simple. :D
