I think you portray Konan well. Her emotions are heartbreaking to feel.

The repetition worked nicely. Konan was a very strong woman. Not many people could stand what she did. Even if she had a calm facade fooling almost everyone, she must have been an emotional wreck. Seeing the body of her best friend used like that must have broken most of her spirit.

A chilling story. I'd been looking for one where Konan is actually horrified at the reanimation of Yahiko, one that is told in a more realistic way, and this is exactly what I imagined. I'm a bit surprised that you wrote another story about Konan. I feel like everyone's forgotten about her like Kishimoto did, which is disappointing.
