This was a very nice little short story. I really liked the ending, it was both cute and funny. The little side stories were a nice touch, too. I still want to know more about Kagura's rendezvous with Nyamo. Oh, the little shoe cubby-things seem to be called "shoe lockers" in everything I've seen. "Locker" seems to work just fine as well. They seem to be the default place to stick love-letters, threats, and other anonymous means of communication.

This is a great Yomi/Tomo and Azumanga Daioh had plenty of room for shoujo ai with a variety of pairings including this one.

Normally, I'm not a huge fan of oneshots, but this was very well done. It flowed nicely and progressed at a steady pace, balanced funny and serious well, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I felt like this was something that you had a lot of fun writing, which always produces the best work.

Anyways, this is a huge step up from your first work, which I still found ridiculously entertaining, so all I can say is keep writing!
