A creepy and intriguing tale of the darker side of things in the arcade. You read it just waiting for something really horrible to happen. Well written, but sadly incomplete. We'll never know what misfortunes lie ahead.

I'm not sure what to make of this one. The prose style is kind of interesting, but it doesn't really seem to go anywhere. Granted, you never finished, but still...

...I don't know. If it's possible to be sort of gripped by the forward propulsion of a piece of prose without actually being all that invested in what it is describing, then I suppose that such was my experience reading this.

I have to tell you, I thought Felix was going to do something to Q*Bert, possibly killing him to see his code. This is... Marginally better, as he's probably going to torture the poor little... thingy.

Felix, you probably shouldn't get to the code room. Just wait for the nice doctor man.

Huh, I wonder how many games get turned off by the main character going nuts? It's not something that could be fixed, especially when the only person who can fix it refuses to do so. Well, they COULD fix it, if they weren't so dependent on their hero that fixing something their self seems insane.

Man, I can feel ripples going through me too, although I doubt it's the same type that Felix was feeling. I hope not, at least.

Felix, what are you planning?! It's a bad sign if suicide is probably the best case scenario.

And yeah, that is a pretty good representative of what he'd probably be feeling. I can see all the Nicelanders subcontiously view him as a tool rather than a person. Just a part of the game, everything is perfectly alright. Somehow Ralph is treated more like a person. A big, wrecking monster is closer than a person than a simple tool is, even if it is less liked.

Wow. Normally I would completely avoid stories that write Felix like this (since I think he's such a sweetheart and should remain that way). But you write so wonderfully, I can't see a single reason why not to read this story anymore! But is it finished? I really want to read more! You're an amazing writer, and I see that you like to write mostly dark stuff. And that's cool!

But I need more!

Please, PLEASE update this story soon!

This is getting good so far! I'm guessing this is from Ralph's POV now. When do we get to the juicy stuff? Like the corruption? (I know I'm hasty). I'm just itching to know what happens next.

oh man Felix is really out of sorts, isn't he? dun dun dun, to the code room!

Um, who exactly is thinkin' out loud here? Is it Ralph or Felix? I think Felix, but it's not clear 'nough to tell. And is this, like, a story 'bout Felix turnin' evil, 'cause that's what it sounds like.

Like he's purposefully abandonin' his Hammer so that their control box will never be fixed. But why? And don't read Witch Knight Daisy. She's got some good ideas, but Satanic references with witches and spells and stuff. Don't open a door.

Thank you both - I thought that if Ralph can get to a stage when he's ready to push against his programming and live his life in a different direction, what if Felix did as well? Felix is lovely, but he's even more lovely to write when he's *not* being lovely!
