OK so here's a plothole in the story that practically topples the entire fanfic off-axis. actually altogether eliminates the possibility of the originals even being created. In the story you specify that Mikael's justification for the barbaric heinous gruesome second death he willingly and quite unabashedly condemns henrik to, is based on the sole reasoning that henrik is indeed not his own blood but a bastard borne of a fairly on-and-off illicit relationship favoured by his lecherous wife. now the father of both klaus and henrik is the same man, the alpha of the village's local werewolf pack. now we know from canon (that you included in this story) that henrik died mauled to death by turned werewolves something that did NOT happen to klaus even though he was within the same vicinity as both his younger brother and the wolves, the only possible explaination behind the unprecedented sparing of klaus' life is that he is a untriggered wolf carrying the alpha genes within the pack, the wolves saw him as one of their own and hence didnt attack said kinsmen, now i cant help but think shouldnt henrik, a boy who is also an untriggered alpha line wolf (basically meeting all criteria klaus meets) also be spared which would basically mean henrik never died, meaning my poor english muffin Klaus never ran clutching his dead brothers bloody body, esther never meddled her obtrusive interfering black witchy mojo hands , mikael never killed ALL of his children without stopping to think that there is even a tiny inkling of possibility that the spell may not work seeing that this is the first time in the history of time something like this is being done and he has whatsoever no success-is-to-failure statistical ratio from past experiences to gamble his children's life upon. and who knows the world wouldve seen a mutually consensual half incestous threesome between klaus elijah and tatia. and basically they wouldve fcking dealt with tragedy that would've inevitably struck, taking atleast one of the siblings away anyway, catering to the 30 yrs of life expectancy they were familiarized with as an average viking family who witnessed the goddamn plague for heaven’s sake.

HOLY FREAKIN CRAP this is the most beautiful story about klaus and caroline EVER and trust me i've seen hundreds of them cause i'm obsessed with their chemistry! The way you described every single thing is straight up beautiful and mesmerizing, i feel like i'm melting and i'm not even the one you described for the story. The smut, the angst, the plot, the backstory, every single thing made me up all night to finished this eventho i have work the next day. You can tell clearly i was very intrigued by all of em. Thank you for making this story i will finish the sequel after this soon. A job well freaking doneee indeed. I also love the fact that you also included another pairings into the story and the family bond aswell. UGH I JUST LOVE THIS SO FREAKING MUCH. Will be back to read this story again and again you can count on it.

I love this couple,they are perfect together,when the originals was finished it lest me very ...sad ,life is somethimes hard so at least tv shows could have happy ends,but fanfiction helps a bit in this case,the story is beautifull,I cound not put it down

I am too lazy to login at the moment. And I normally don't review until the end but I can't help myself. I'm late this particular train but Klaroline is hands down my OTP and this story is fast becoming my favorite. The interactions between Klaus and Damon are cracking me up. Like literally rolling on the floor laughter. Anyway. I am so excited to see what happens next. I'll let you know my overall impression when I reach the end. OMG! OMG! What an amazing story. The fact that the nature of your characters were exact the same as in the show made the story even more realistic. So many important parts but three things that really stood out for me are, 1) that original evil lord Michel had Henrik resurrected & be horribly abused in front of Klaus. And the shocking twist that Henrik & Klaus shared the same father. But to have Klaus watch his own brother tortured to death is just the highest level of injustice.

Second is Caroline finding out that Silv & Klaus had sex. And another shocking twist that the man who broke Silv's heart was Elijah. Like, holy fucking shit. And Caroline falls for him anyway. Frankly, I don't think I can do it myself. I think I would find it incestuous. But I'm a Klaroline always & forever so there is that. At least you didn't go with a Haley & baby & Camille crap. So thanks for that.

Third is how Klaus took Caroline by surprise by taking her to her dream lagoon & proceeded to propose. So sweet of him to remember what she said. Too bad you didn't have the smut while they were in the lagoon, lol. But I actually searched & found the engagement ring from Bonham's Auction. Not the style I would choose, but the stones are very pretty.

I've read this about three times by now. I recently read that authors like reviews if you liked their work even long after it was written. I want to tell you that Dungeons and Sanctuaries are two of my favorite Klaroline fics and I love your writing.
