Oh, wow. I'm sure you've heard this a hundred times, but it's fantastic that a guy is writing fanfiction! There are not many of you and you are worth your weight in books and chocolate. And excellent fanfic to boot. This was wonderful and I hope you write more of this pairing in the future.

This is really well written, from the cat's hairball waking, to John having a laugh at the end. Lovely list of things that Sherlock deduced in next to no time - very in character. Also the way he checks himself in the mirror - I can just hear him thinking; 'still the most handsome consulting detective'. Priceless!

Either he's got a very small tank, or he's too mean to fill her up. It's been costing me over £70 notes to fill my tank up and I don't drive anything as big as a Range Rover. And in this country we have automatics and manual cars. I like stick-shift better, but he'd be unlikely to think that.

I very much like the way that you write. I'm very inspired to read more and shall do the moment I have time.
