Okay, this story is really cool. Really, really cool. I can’t stop mulling over the consequences of this, the ethics that go along with this. A seriously neat idea, and well fleshed-our to illustrate the peculiarities that go along with it.
The last line of this last chapter is interesting. It plays double meanings, enhanced by the capitilazation. It means that Holmes is afraid of nothing, ... except for Nothing. Nothing is the thing he fears, and other than that he does not fear anything.
I’m very curious to see how this plays out.

This is fascinating. Also, I enjoy that Sherlock's fear is Nothing aka the Void aka Boredom Personified(if a sentient is conscious in the Void, of course, to notice it's boring).
