Ahh, Iruka... I'd love to know more about the rumors as well, non-tainted by Mizuki. Kakashi should know better than to assume Iruka's too "good" to have enemies; the nicest people have some of the worst haters! XD Guess we'll find out, eh?

Poor Iruka, can't even say he's oblivious, just overly logical and has set-in-stone preconceived notions. Kakashi has his work cut out for him. Lovely update!

I love these two together. To me they are just cannon, and subtle in public. Because ninja.

I’ve never read stories about this pairing before, but I’m happy I started with this fic.

I love -more than anything- your ability to write misunderstandings. I think many new writers overthink and write situations where all of the characters are always on the same page. I like how Iruka and Kakashi aren’t always seeing eye to eye or even misreading the situation.

I love this Iruka coming of age story. And Kakashi's unexpected soft feelings for this gentle chuunin. And Am I and Iruka's (most excellent) adventure. I really hate Mizuki. I wonder when Iruka will start mentoring the Hokage's son. Thanks for writing!
