Even worse and better at the same time, how dare you make me feel incredibly sorry for a character whose sole purpose was a quick laugh because he literally went to pieces?!

And again with tears, it's interesting just how tragic these stories are when you go back to what happened, rather than just seeing "Ooh, man cut in half, haha!" or whatever the case may be.

Alfred was always one of my favorite characters so this definitely made me smile. I love it that he's Emily's surrogate father as well.

I love it that these two, rather than being the actual Napoleon and Wellington, are instead just two old soldiers who enjoy collecting relics, rather like Last of the Summer Wine but with serious firepower. Quite wonderful!

Just wonderful, the American jazz musicians in Victorian England is finally explained! And I loved it that they definitely could have stepped right out of the early jazz scene with those personalities!

This is such a lovely story, just wonderful. I loved it that you came up with a backstory for one of the more mysterious characters in Corpse Bride and it seems totally right and like it's the only possibility.
