This version of Akashi reminds me a bit of Akito Sohma and i would love to see a fanfic where he goes through with that threat of taking kuroko away.

Possessive Akashi is a delightful thing to see ( or read about). What else can I say? :D

Hum... it might be ineffective at some point, but seeing how the members of Seirin them self still effected by his misdirection (look at their match with ... I forgot... the dude who cheat...) despite being his team mate (thus by proxy, is constantly under his misdirection every day) chances are, it will take a lifetime and constant exposure for the misdirection to lose their effect.

And on the game with ... I forgot again... Kuroko play as starter, the misdirect losen, he take a break, 20 min later he comes back and the opponent *complain* about how the misdirect is back strong again.

The most concerning thing is the fact that the misdirect is basically "tricks" and the more they show, the more the opponent get to analyze, thus they must constantly creating new 'tricks'
