Also, I also LOVED Recoil, but wish we had gotten to see just a few Caskett moments. I had thought we would, with all the emotions Kate was dealing with but oh well. It's still the best show ever, I just ship those two so hard it's ridiculous, haha :)

Very well written. I thought you captured their characters perfectly. I always have loved the idea of Castle comforting Kate after an especially rough day such as this one. However, a lot of fic writers get it wrong, making her immediately jump into his arms, sobbing, which is just not Kate Beckett. But you didn't do that. I loved how you wrote the build up, with her struggling with showing her emotions. Castle has broken through many of her walls, but she is still working on being able to be completely open with him, and I thought you showed this perfectly.
I also loved Castle's line where he told her how remarkable she was, but that even remarkable people have to cry sometimes. That was just perfect and I want to see that said on the show. Haha
Also really loved this part:
"Though he tried to work as she read, he couldn't seem to put words on paper; all of the stories he would ever want to know were in his arms and in the form of this remarkable woman, someone he couldn't seem to stop loving."
I LOVE THIS. It can basically just sum up every episode, each season, the whole show. Every since he met her, her stories are all he's cared about. Stories about her, for her, with her. She is his story now. Gosh, I can't even handle how perfect that is.
Anyway, this was just great and I hope you write more :)

Oh that was beautiful! Very warm and funny and cute and quite a pleasure to read. AlthoughI must say that those "flashbacks" distracted me a bit from the story so I admit that I barely skimmed them in the end... But thanks for that story.

Super sweet, I loved it- especially the part about the flowers- but it's nice to see Kate let go sometimes. If only this could have happened!
