Gunlord500 chapter 1 . 2/12/2013 Yeah, I agree with my brother Cookiecheeseman's review. This is a pretty moving exploration of racism, especially using a relatively uncommon lens (Hector/Lyn) to do so. Quite impressive, kudos to you! |
COOKIECHEESEMAN chapter 1 . 2/8/2013 Interesting. I don't believe anyone has ever tried this before; a story about the child with Sacaen blood. Other than the fact that I think second-person view stories aren't allowed, it works well. :p This is quite I don't normally delve into these types of stories, I'm glad I decided to read this one. Those nobles really are crapheads sometimes, aren't they? The Sacaens are much better people than they are! Well done! |
eolianstar chapter 1 . 2/7/2013 really lovely... I'm a closet Hector/Lyn shipper because I think I believe that Lyn/Rath is more realistic and fair to the characters... so it's sort of a sad sweetness to be able to read stories like this. I really think it interesting how Lilina struggles against and finally establishes the seemingly non-existent Sacaen side of her. I always did think her Ostian through and through, so this made me think of something I hadn't before in her character. But it is beautifully written! Lots of feeling, very evocative prose. Good work! |
