Kids in my family where talking like normal people by that age for the most part. The way she is talking she should be about 1 maybe 2

I'm really liking this! Though If nina was mine I think I'd get as frustrated as Emma.

I agree and disagree with your thoughts on the way Nina's dialogue is written. While I agree many children develop their speech patterns from their parents I find Nina's feels somewhat exaggerated. I have spent many years in the education system teaching small children and even my three year old can speak more clearly than Nina despite the fact that English is not their first language for many of them. One explanation for Nina's speech could be that she's the middle child. Middle children often feel ignored as they are not the baby anymore and they are not the oldest who they feel gets all the privileges. It is common for middle children to revert to acting younger than they are in an effort to regain the attention they got from their parents before the younger sibling was born.

You should keep going with the story!

I dream with a first time story, when Regina marries Emma, not king Leopold.

I was almost expecting Emma to lose it even more so on Cora that night, but I think you kept it classy!
