Dang, how incredibly deep in a piece shorter than 500 words... And that final line was fantastic. What a great way to end such a novelette...

My heart melted, and I could really see the characters acting like this. It was very touching, more than touching, and much like Jérémie in this story, I was breathless at the end.

Thank you so much for writing such a story. I usually don't bother even glancing at stories that are less than 1,000 words because of my own prior readings, but oh my God... this story in particular was an absolute gem.
