I just recently saw this song(today), and was WHAT DOES THIS REMIND ME OF!? So I raked through all 1,020 of my favorite and found this. Ahh... Memories.

Great version really awesome

This was just... Wow... You did a very good job setting scene and atmosphere. I really could feel the emotions the characters had. It was so sad, and this take on the song is really interesting. It's also believable.
Three edits I might make, however:
There was a point when what was written was "He also just looked like him" instead of "He also looked just like him".
There was also this line: '"What are you doing here, Cold Haze?" the boy boringly asked.' I would suggest rewriting the speaker tag. Maybe 'the boy asked boredom seeping into his voice', unless what you meant to imply was that what he was saying was boring, not that he was bored.
Last thing, there was a part in the beginning where you miss typed something. Instead of 'the boy', it says 'they boy'.
In any case, the story was really, really good. I loved it. You did a very good job, and none of the (minor) mistakes you made were distracting or horrible or anything. Just things to notice and keep in mind for future writing :)

this was a extremely well portrayal of the song. Great job, though i am sad at how you ended it. but still great enough to be considered a favorite
