I don’t know why, but then again, I’ve never went over chapter 11 due to my dislike of strong JackRabbit. Anywho, I’m commenting on how cute the other chapters are. I just love their brotherly love. Makes my heart happy. I’ve read your other stories with them as Brothers and I hope you write another Brother love story. I loved them all. I know you probably like JackRabbit more, but can you maybe write one more brother love story?

You're correct. I have updated the rating to M and replaced the summaries with something more appropriate. This story honestly should have been split into two separate ones as I did change Jack's age at some point without adequate reason.

Okay, so first thing first: Jack and Bunny's relationship. I honestly am so confused as to what the hell happened, because first, it was a brotherly relationship as mentioned in the narrative, ESPECIALLY with Jack being called a CHILD multiple times. Then, out of nowhere, it becomes romantic. Outside of the sudden romance, there's also the part where it's disgusting because, again, Jack is an eternal child in this. His mindset is of a child, not an adult, despite his age. It's beyond disgusting, it's horrifying, because that is a literal child (as YOU established via the narrative calling him, Jack behaving as one, and literally everyone treating him as one) in a romantic and sexual relationship with an adult. THAT would be why a reviewer called it sick. Furthermore, he is STILL treated as a child during this relationship, leading to a very unhealthy power balance between them.

Next, Pitch is an asshole who has given literally no reason for his redemption. He repeatedly trampled over Jack's boundaries and wishes of NOT wanting to see him (with the Guardians' help, I might add! Who have NO right to be making decisions for him!) He forced Jack to experience hellish nightmares for a deal that really had no basis or holding (considering that Pitch was not nearly strong enough to kill Bunny, so no idea what the hell Jack was thinking), forcibly tried to change Jack into a Fearling, made him attack and nearly kill someone he cared about, and then proceeded to attempt to commit what I can only believe was suicide to "make up for it", despite the fact that he would therefore forever burdening Jack with that guilt, despite it not being his fault. His entire "redemption" is summed up in literally the LAST paragraph with absolutely no evidence to any of it. Most damningly, his and Jack's entire reconciliation - which took up, what, the last five chapters? - occurred entirely in the second to last sentence.

There's also the ratings issue, namely that this needs to be rated M, because it sure as hell is not appropriate for a thirteen year old, which is what rated T is for. Speaking of the reasons behind the ratings, it's uncomfortable as a reader for you to purposely allude and write IN THE NARRATIVE for a character relationship (Jack and Bunny) to be one way (brotherly) and suddenly turn it into something else (romantic) that takes over much of the fic. There's also the aspect of how the summary is COMPLETELY misleading. This isn't a oneshot series at all. After chapter four, every single chapter DEPENDS on previous chapters for readers to understand. There's also next to no adjusting to Jack joining the team in the fic or how it affects him and the team. (Tooth and Sandy are actually very lacking in the story, to a very noticeable degree.) Adding in your reaction to the reviewer commenting that Jack and Bunny being together in this fic was sick, it doesn't exactly give me a good impression of how you treat your readers.

I was honestly looking forward to this fic when I picked it up and I'm so disappointed that it was completely different than what it was supposed to be. There's a reason for fanfiction etiquette, which would have taken care of a lot of the issues right there. Consistency with the story would have taken care of your issues with the Jack/Bunny relationship and Pitch's "redemption."

Dangit. When I picked up this story, I didn't read the genre romance... Sigh. Chapter 11 turned me off completely, since I rather dislike the "Jackrabbit" pairing. Up to this point, the story is very enjoyable- I love the concept of a fatherly/brotherly Bunnymund and mostly fatherly North- and the oddity that is fatherly Pitch. However, I regret at the choice- well, necessity for me, to pit this book down. "Jackrabbit" honestly just makes me very uneasy- like incest. Again, fabulous book- just... not what I hoped it was. I enjoyed me stay here, truly- thank you for having me.

this is very nice. not overly sexual and very steady and thought out. I'm excited to see where it goes. And at the beginning of this, you said "you jackrabbit fans will love this" so are you saying you're not a jackrabbit fan?
