Lovely story and great alternative too.
It goes to show how one change or one person can change your entire life story. If Bella never left Edward he would have never become as successful & she wouldn't have lived her dream to become author. As they say things happen for a reason.
I must say 12 years apart is an exceptionally long period of time, must be heartbreaking.

I really enjoyed all your characters and how they developed. I just wished there was a bit more development of Carlisle and Esme. They were important characters but I felt like they were a bit sweept over.
Obviously I understand it's hard to develop every single character and have numerous back stories as there is a lot going on in your story.

On a side notes it's very strange to read stories that are based in the UK (as they are very rare). I lived in Birmingham for a while about 7 years ago(so around the time the story was based) and the story felt so much more real as there were mentions of places I would visit.

I'm loving your story, but I don't understand why it's become a fan fiction thing with Bella and Edward breaking up and during their time apart, Edward sleeps with a 100 women and Bella doesn't sleep with anyone...in over a decade! Come on. And now her only sexual experience since Edward needs to be because she was drugged and raped? That's just not right.

I truly loved each chapter of your story. This will be one of my favorites from now on. Excellent work.

Personally Rosalie, Emmett and Charlie have some MAJOR fucking grovelling to do. What Edward and Bella should be doing is treating them with a cold detachment. Rosalie should have tried talking with Bella BEFORE giving the letter to the parentals. Not only that, but Bella was 18, she was legally an adult. It was her decision to do what she wanted with her life.

As for Renee, she's nothing but a selfish whore who needs to just die. What she did was fucking unforgivable. Thankfully Bella was found when she was during her first year of uni otherwise she could have died because her mother was a fucked up bitch.
