You say it's beavers POV, but it's written in third person? It makes the narrator (not beaver in this case) sound stupid and arrogant. And he seems too violent, Beaver's so sweet and cute! Great idea tho.

I think this captures Beavers cognitive brainpower in an optimistic light haha but it's necessary to make a story from his perspective sound good. Good job picking a topic (caterpillars) that was mostly unrelated to keep him sounding as unfocused as we know he is! It tied together well.
