I’ve seen many renditions of this idea and all have one reoccurring trait, the person who replaces Percy is always an incompetent dick, with no skill or redeeming qualities while I certainly understand wanting to make an unlikable character I’ve never understood why making Percy’s job easy is so common. The new son of Poseidon doesn’t have to be the best but seeing some with a little skill or power would be cool. Or just adding a more Nuanced personality to them. No hate just an observation |

| DarkEnigma95 chapter 12 . 3/8/2018 Just read book 2 and I enjoyed it all just like the last. Quite a bit of drama but at least Hazel is safe. The only problem I see is Annabeth still, but I am glad Thalia is telling her to back off. The best part was when Mark had that humiliation at the hands of Percy, and wearing an outfit from the Aphrodite cabin (I cried laughing about Mark wearing a black thong of all things) Welp, I am going to read book 3 and see what happens there. Seeing as it involves Artemis, well, I don't see it going down well for her in that. |
