I love how simplistic the writing style is. Not overly fancy in detail, but to the point and starkly giving the reader what he or she needs..and managing to do so in a smooth and beautiful way. I quite enjoyed this tale.

This is one of the best Hermione/George fics I've read! I have know idea why there are so little reviews - it was well-written, the characters were believable and the progression of the relationship was natural and, although bittersweet, pretty perfect. I think I remember there being a sequel, I hope you got a chance to finish. Best of luck with what you're doing know (hopefully you still have some time for fics!)

I am so sorry; I left a few negative comments at the end of this story- something I almost never do to any story- because I appreciate the time and effort writers put into them. I was disappointed with the ending. However, I loved the rest of the story and apologize for being such a grump. Fanfiction site won't let me add a second comment to the final chapter so I am placing my apology here.

You haven't explained why the journals stopped working, resulting in neither Hermione nor George receiving each other's messages. Hard to believe neither of them mentioned that they had written or asked why the other didn't respond. I can't stand boorish, self-centered, insensitive Ron with Hermione. Horrid way to end the story in my opinion.

A lovely story, and I hope that the next story is just as interesting. It will be good to see how you create a post-Voldemort world, and I honestly hope that Hermione and George find their way back to each other. I'd also like to know what happened to the journal that they never received the notes they wrote to one another until each decided that the other had fallen out of love with them. I have an idea, and can't wait to see your take on it.

Such a pleasure to read! Glad you finished it. While Fred dying is never easy, I think the aftermath presents a lot of opportunity for writing. I think you described it perfectly by saying there shouldn't be pain and suffering after war and how that was unfair. But therein lies real life for you. We forget sometimes, especially in fanfiction where it is easier to have everyone be happy, that just because there is an end to a war doesn't mean everything is (magically) better. Coming back from those experiences takes time and effort and not everything lines up perfectly. I think you showed that rather than explained it and you did it quite well. On to the sequel! :)
