Reviews for Wakashudo
SesshaTetsuko chapter 2 . 5/7/2018
The conclusion is great... You have captured their relationship very well, and the story is realistic considering the time/place. Nice piece of work, thanks for sharing it!
leegaalove chapter 2 . 3/1/2016
i absolutely love this story. so may feels and it really captures the turbulent yet inherently deep bond of the master and student. though the yaoi was light it was very thoughtful, hanging onto the poetry of the act and the way you cut out any extraneous matter is really very skillful. this makes me depressed because i could never write as well as this.

amazing

Hello there! I've stumbled upon your fanfic whilst trying to rekindle my Ruroken spirit after watching the recent Ruroken live action, and I felt kind of guilty because I saw a chemistry between Kenshin and his master haha;;

Anyway, this is really gorgeous, you manage to keep it elegant and sensual (not overly explicit), I think you did a wonderful job on interpreting the 'Wakashudo'. To be frank, your story actually inspires me to do few HikoKen drawings, and if you do not mind, I'd like to draw something out of this piece, I'll be sure to credit you for the idea of course! (here's my tumblr .com )

I hope that someday you'll write again about these two. Hope you'll have a wonderful day!
Samwise the Strong chapter 1 . 6/26/2014
I love what you have done with this story!
the Dah chapter 2 . 2/1/2013
Oh my god. This was amazing. The first chapter relealed a nice rarely mentioned concept and was eloquently written... but this one. I can't but love the ending. Superb thinking, nicely written. With this you got very well indeed into Hiko's head. I really hope you do write more of Ruroken, the fandom needs new creative thinking!
Samkin-lone-Senshi chapter 1 . 1/31/2013
This is really good, not much for yaoi anymore, but this really was masterful...and you did so much research on Samurai practices.
the Dah chapter 1 . 1/31/2013
This was a nicely done lemon one-shot. Not too graphic, and quite sensual. I am actually interested in this side of Kenshin's character and his and Hiko's complicated relationship. With this story, you bring out a good point, as homosexuality had a very different viewpoint in japanese culture than european / american. I mean that it wasn't necessarily out of love or lust, but signifying bonds. Anyways, nicely done. I would like to see what more you could bring out of this concept and how it would pertain Kenshin's character's later development and in particular to his relationship with Sano (as a good comrade) and Yahiko (Adopted son/student).
