Love, Lust, Ludicrous, does it matter?

Wow, this was a really enjoyable story. Read this after I read through/got caught up with SC, and I have to say, your writing is very enjoyable. I like the way you put things into context and I enjoy how you have events play out. I would have reviewed SC before this, regarding I read that first, but I forgot that I had on account actually on this site, haha. So now I think I'll use my found account as an excuse to reread SC in order to give accurate reviews.

Didn't quite get the title until I looked it up. Now I feel stupid. Ah well, at least I learned something new.

At first I thought this might be a story of how they STARTED to get along after being separated for so long... but I finally caught the hint when she threw him the napkin. "No way. That is too awesome." were my only thoughts to that. And it only got better from there!

Glad I went into your stories and found this. Sure beats the heck out of waiting for SC chapters.

Another great fic from you. Very well written, I really thought they were for real at the beginning and then unexpectedly came the expected lol. Hope too see more of this as well.

As much as I love the idea of Kirino and Kyousuke getting all close and personal, the Japanese terms kind of annoy me. They just strike me as unfitting and unnecessary. Using "mom" instead of "ofukuro" and "dad" instead of "oyaji" just seems better in my opinion. Not a fan of the Anata-Koishii thing either, even though seeing them treating each other like a wed couple pleases me greatly. It feels much more endearing to me seeing Kirino calling Kyousuke by his name, something she barely does (and when she started doing it in the LN, it was a major turning point in their relationship).

Complaints aside, I like it a lot. In your author note, you mention a next chapter, so I take it there'll be another one? Even though the description says One-Shot?

Oh, I'm sure it must have been quite the sibling complication.

Okay, since you're concerned with the Japanese usage, I'll address that first.

Anata is used correctly, including its hidden meaning. Koishii though is not. Koishii (恋しい) is more of an adjective, and while it does roughly translates to "dear" or "beloved", it should be used more like "beloved- and followed by *someone or something*" or "*someone or something* is my beloved". For a noun, "koibito (恋人)" would be better grammar-wise. I don't think there's a common term like "anata" for husbands to call their wives. Just simply calling them by their first names is enough to signify closeness.

As for the story,

You know, I think I've seen an OreImo doujin that somewhat followed such a storyline before...no, seriously. I can give you the title if you want.

To be honest I had already felt something fishy right at the beginning. After everything that had happened in canon and how their relationship had improved over the years, for Kirino to be THAT harsh with Kyousuke is completely unfathomable. Sure, she has outbursts from time to time and would sometimes engage in arguments with Kyousuke, but her actions at the beginning bordered more on hatred than anything. Just saying. It's baffling that their parents weren't confused, or more likely suspicious, of such a sudden change of attitude.

Which begs the question - why did they find it necessary to partake in such an act in front of their parents? I'm guessing it has something to do with this "complication" that Kyousuke had pointed out.

Also, Daisuke would've reacted even more severely if this happened in canon. He values the time where families sit down and have dinner (hence why they always have dinner at precisely 7 o'clock. You either be there on time or you go hungry). He would not have taken well to Kirino destroying the mood, much less how she apparently had taken his usual spot at the dinner table.

And Kirino, the miss perfect, failing her first entrance exam? Ayase would faint if she heard how her idol failed at grades...it does sound unlikely. And Daisuke would probably be all over her ss for it...you know how Kirino had promised nothing but the best grades in exchange for letting her continue her modelling job.

I'd like to see as to how they got together in the first place though, which I'm sure you're going to deliver in the next installment.

As to what Mr. dbzsotrum9 said, it's pretty normal for children to come back and stay for a few nights, no? It is their home after all. Though I am confused how he said he still had exams when he already has a job...

I've only played Tales of Destiny 2 before. I'd love to hear what you have in mind though for this crossover. You're gonna have the siblings sucked into the gaming world or something?

Absolutely amazing story bro! I really loved it. When I beta-ed this I was killing myself waiting for the full thing to be published. And I can most definitely say that it was well worth the wait. Gotta say, you really got me fooled there -Kirino's acting and dialogue was so well thought of that I thought Kirino was genuinely angry with Kyousuke. So, the ending was quite a bit of a surprise for me.

I'm surprised that you didn't show the lemon, cuz you usually show the lemon in the story (whenever one takes place). Anyway, once again, great work on this story. Keep it up!

ummm if Kyousuke has his own apartment, then why is he still in his room? also Anata means "you" and is commonly used by wives to their husbands... but what about the word Koibito which can work for both the husband or the wife?
