Oh my...imagine that... "When he thinks back on this moment, this instant, when he lost a trench coat and gained some courage, he will remember the taste of that toothpaste." Nick did find some courage from somewhere. He lost the coat, and then seemed to recognise that he was only brave when wearing it, so he stepped up. He was honest about what he wanted. I was cheering him on. And swooning. There was a LOT of swooning. "They could be so much more than they've dared to let on. She said she needed him and while he knows this isn't what she was saying, he thinks, maybe, it was a little bit what she meant. So he almost does it." This is Nick, IMO. Great observation. It seems like ages ago when we were sneaking around watching New Girl behind our fella's backs. Now everyone seems to have gotten wise to something we've known for a while: Nick Miller is a dish. An absolute dish! Thanks for writing this. :) |
