Damn, this is the… fourth of fifth time I've come back after so many years to reread this wonderful piece of work, just want you to know I really really love it, your ideas and portrayal are so amazing, I hope there is more of this story

That's got to be one interesting talk... And wait, does this mean all of Altair's line are part Blacklight? If you treat it like a recessive gene like eagle vision and the OWCB genes, that could explain why some of the line like Ezio and Desmond are a bit...different. Though now I'm imagining if they got a jump start to full virus expression. The Templars would be fucked.

I have to admit, I skipped the author's note my first time reading this and was completely confused as to what was going on... it took reading the AO3 version of this fic for me to finally get it. I'm slow, I know.

Anyhow, I enjoyed this fic a lot. Your writing is pretty good and the concept was definitely interesting. I liked the Malik and Altair/Alex interaction as well.

If you ever do write a continuation with the whole 'Desmond goes a bit too far back and ends up back in the future' concept, I'd read the heck out of it.
