Aww man! I totally agree with you! My favorite characters are Randy, Howard, and Viceroy myself. I think Viceroy is pretty good at heart (especially when he finds out they're fighting a kid) and would have a softer side.

I just got into the fandom a few weeks ago and man am I in deep already. I am dying to find some more fluff like this between Randy and Viceroy and wow this is EXACTLY what I was looking for! This is all so precious plus the descriptive diction you use gave me chills. I loved how you talked about the spring dirt and the pine needles falling on Randy. I could feel as if I was there wow.

You also captured their characters real well. I was actually reading their lines in their voices, especially McFist's. His constant screaming is great. :3

Dang. I'd like to see this one continued. Just little instances throughout the series where Viceroy tries to help Randy out subtly. Seeing as this is 4-5 years old, I doubt that, but hey.

I never really took Viceroy as evil no matter what, even thou he has the capabilities of being almost as bad as the sorcerer if he really wanted with he brains

This is really nice! It seems very in character for both and while you could have shown a little more and told a little less as well as strung things together a bit more, it's over all a very fun read! The explanations didn't seem contrived and things are nicely paced, especially how the writing makes it feel more quiet leading up to when Viceroy actually gets to where Randy is

THIS IS FREAKIN' AMAZING. I always liked Viceroy, and found it interesting that he never actually showed an opinion towards the Ninja besides it being his job to stop him. I love how you added in him having kids, because it somehow makes his character more interesting. Now I want to learn more about him.
