Wow.

This was amazing. The imagery was superb, the characterization spot-on, the depiction of Dani's mental state and how she goes on from her abduction until she not-quite-but-almost comes to terms with it (or at least learns to go on from there).
I especially liked the fractured, short way you use, the paragraphs and how the time flows in between them, the interaction between Crews and Dani (the second paragraph was one of my favorites, I guess, though I have more), and Crew's odd comments and zen-like mottoes. And the way their relationship progresses. I liked the way you depicted Dani thinking about her father, and about what he meant to her although she learned he wasn't a good man.
Actually, I could list a whole lot of things I liked. It comes down to the fact that reading this story was an amazing experience, I enjoyed it a lot. It was perfect, from beginning to the end.

This is a new experience for me - reading fanfics from multiple fandoms at the same time, investing in multiple fandoms at the same time. It always seemed impossible before. And now it is a nice learning experience to see that - despite exploring similar themes, even similar moments - good fanfic writers really do change style for different shows, different characters. This sounds like Reese and Crews. The oddness of their intimacy. The unspoken connections and the disjuncture. The strangeness in Crews' expressions, that could seem rude or inappropriate to anyone who gave a crap, unlike Dani. The fact that they are both so utterly themselves and perhaps because of that, all the more comfortable with each other.

I came here to read your Haven fics - there really isn't enough good Haven fic around - and that impressed me too. 'Life' is still a love of mine and I miss it.

Loved this, it's spartan, but full enough to paint the picture of them after "One" Realistic in a way the romanticized fics aren't - closer, but not together, not yet. She shares things with him alone, but he also makes her see things she's always ignored. He takes away her crutch, but makes her stronger, more complete. Nicely done and great use of Zen.

I love this - especially that bit in Tidwell's office where Charlie says "My partner says don't go, I don't go". Really enjoyable to read. (:
