I'm so glad you have decided to continue this story after such an incredibly long time! As always, the descriptions are so very well detailed and I really liked the little moment shared by Canada and Iceland. And we finally get to meet the Soul Weaver! I'm already excited as to how the whole battle with the Creator will turn out. Anyways, props to you!

First of all, let me comment on your fic like good old times. The prose is quite flowing, the character interactions are great, with the nice additional lore in. The part 'played the scene over and over again until becoming desensitized' was really great detail and characterizing for Canada. The description for the soul weaver was super graphically creepy, so super nice! The chapter as a whole was really nice to read!
The other part is that I wanted to say that you're amazing for still continuing this. The resolve to continue and finish the story you thought of, that's more impressive than anyone can think. It's a sin that I'm guilty of too many times, honestly. For that, and for your determination, I'm truly honored to see this. I truly think you can complete this, and I'll be there for you all the way to the end.

Hate mail eh? Don't think that will be necessary haha. I absolutely loved this story, especially to read something so serious about Iceland without it just being another pairing story. The whole curse concept is very badass and the scene where Japan stabbed him gave me chills. For some reason I love seeing my fave characters suffer. It makes me feel more empathy for them. I also adore his relationship with the Faroe Islands, it's really sweet how she stuck with him even though she was terrified.

This chapter was great, more lore(which is my jam), more character interactions, and more Canada. Nothing can go amiss with a good Canada.
I hope you can keep fighting your writer's block successfully and release another excellent chapter!(and please punch real life in the face for me as well)

Hm... glad to know it was because of the voters choice that Veneziano perished. Though the fight was questionable given the fact that Veneziano (which is his official name btw. Italia Veneziano and Italia Romano) is very skilled at fencing in canon. He'd have given his brother a harder time at it, especially if Romano's specialty lied more with firearms (*cough*Mafia*cough*)

I find it real funny that the Italy brothers are The Twins when in reality they are not. In canon it was confirmed that Romano is two years older than Veneziano, while Veneziano is taller than his brother.

Didn't Himayura release sketches of the UK brothers sometime ago... If I recall correctly, Scotland didn't have a beard, and Northern Ireland wasn't such a small boy and had red hair. As for Ireland, while the gender has not been decided it is still unknown what his/her connection is to the UK brothers. And Himayura stated that a "crybaby" personality would work for the female Ireland.
