Found this story today and I just finished. Oh why world government!? Just ruining such a lavish evening is so sad. Good story by the way! Can't wait for the next chapter!

I don't know why, but after the hundreds of story and author alerts I've gotten in my email the past few years of low activity on fanfiction, I stopped at the chapter four update of this one.

I'm glad I did! -dances about- Woo woo!

So far the story's been mostly exposition, but, after leaving my One Piece volumes behind when I moved, it was nice just to see the crew about and doing their thing. Fun to read. D

There were quite a few minor typos and errors - no more than typical on the site - but it was certainly readable and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

A couple fun little facts:

1) “Blonde” is only for girls, but “blond” can be used for either sex. Obscure rule for the win! The word's weirdness is because it's originally French, doncha know.

2) I've never noticed names getting frequently tossed around when reading books. The only reason I can say this for certain is I bought a book by Carl Hiaasen (author of "Hoot") which is titled "Scat". One of the characters is referred to by his first AND last name every single time he's not just a pronoun. This was one of my favorite books, so I read it for a second time, and only noticed that detail on the second read through. Mind. Blown. -boosh- I bring this up because I find it more distracting (and uncommon) to read things like "black haired boy." Even so, it's your choice how you write your story. (Man. I feel like that last sentence just says, "Hey, I'm amazing and awesome and know what I'm talking about, and if you choose to ignore me, it's YOUR OWN DOOM YOU'RE BRINGING UPON YOURSELF. MUAHAHA! SO MUCH EBIL!")

This is really good! I'm looking forward to the ball. It must be hilarious with Luffy's antics!
Hm...I actually thought that Robin would be going to spy on someone because she is suspicious of the ball, but looks like this is a shipping fic after all xD

I think it would be good if you made the chapters a little longer. Right now they are really short. :)
