This was just wonderful fic! I enjoyed it fully. It's kind of sad you ended your fic here, but I can understand that you wouldn't want to go through the present timeline, since then this fic would lose it focus. The way Kisuke and Shinji did fall for each other was sweet, plus I liked LOT OFF the fact they had to struggle to be together. The flower planting at the end was perfect way for them to get married. (Since they couldn't officially, sadly.) All in all this was SUPER inspiriting and beautiful. I'm just glad in the end they could be together, despite all the hardships.

Great story! I really enjoyed the way you characterized everyone in this story, even the minor characters. Their interactions were also very interesting and entertaining to read. Hirako and Kisuke's relationship was also very sweet of course.

That being said, he's pretty much the reason I began reading this fic in the first place, cos you have a really great gift for writing him as well as Kubo-sensei himself.

Okay, so y'know, Hirako's more like the second reason - I just wanted to read every single thing you wrote, Senpai! :)

And holy fuck, was this fic seventeen million kinds of AWESOME. It's not a pairing I've ever considered, cos I always only see Urahara with Yoruichi, and Hirako with well... no one, really.

But you made it work and it had all the right elements of romance, drama, action, angst, humor... Not everyone can balance all those elements, y'know. It takes a whole lot of talent.

There are so many things I love about this story, and it's, y'know, the ENTIRE thing. But to name a few of the things that stood out...

I love that you wrote a fic set in the Turn Back The Pendulum arc. I absolutely adore that arc, and don't think it gets the attention it deserves.

Your characterization is spot on as always, but I especially love the way you wrote Hirako, Akon, Gin, Mayuri, and Hiyori. Especially Hirako and Hiyori, who are, by far and away, two of the very many characters I love in Bleach.

I love the changes you made to the canon events in order to fit this storyline, but I also love how close to canon you kept everything.

Especially loved the interaction between Yoruichi and Urahara, and how protective she was of him. They are best friends, first and foremost, which I very firmly believe is the foundation of a great relationship. I just love Yoruichi in general cos she's amazeballz and totally fucking hot.

One of my favorite things about your fic was Urahara's natural progression into getting stronger - losing the diffidence and naivety and turning into the Urahara we know today. I feel that showcasing his growth was especially important.

I love how everything played out in the end - especially about how Urahara came into owning that candy store and the lead up to his future association with Jinta. Jinta and Ururu's origins is something I've been wondering about to this day.

And of course, the way you so flawlessly worked hanakotoba into the story and the emphasis on what an important part it plays in Hirako and Urahara's lives was more than beautifully executed.

I really do hope you continue to write more of your amazing fics, Senpai. I would love to see the way you write all kinds of characters, but I especially hope you'll continue to write Hirako, because he is the character I feel you write the best. :)

I really enjoyed reading this. The story was well written with a few grammar errors, but I'm a grammar Nazi, so don't worry about it. I also like how you basically followed the arc, keeping to the basic events like FuckFace Aizen's schemes. Gin was pretty affordable too.

I am quite sad this story has a end... I enjoyed those characters and the way they interacted with each other.
For this final chapter, I particularly liked the argument between shinji and Kisuke. You dealt pretty well with Shinji's change of character. It was subtle.
I also LOVED the moment Shinji realized that Kisuke had always been tested, never trusted. It is a very interesting and possible interpretation of Kubo's character and I was so sad for him.

I hope there will be more long stories to come, I enjoy your work :)
