AroggantIgnorant045 chapter 1 . 2/18/2019 you wrote this well although now that we do know what really happened back then, you'd start to question why Mycroft did allow John to dominate and corner him like that.. |
TheRedScreech chapter 1 . 3/7/2017 John makes the ordinary extraordinary. He makes the impossible not just possible but happen. Well done on this one! |
Guest chapter 1 . 8/27/2016 I think is simply memorising and beautiful, I love it. It should have more reviews |
BooksAreMedicine chapter 1 . 10/22/2015 I love how you phrase things, it's amazing! I would be more scared of John at that point too. Nice point about Moriaty's view of him, not mocking. |
Toothtooth chapter 1 . 10/5/2015 My god this is amazing- I love your writing and your character depth. I love how you write John nd how others see him, well done my friend |
Mari Wollsch chapter 1 . 3/18/2015 great xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

Hannah Lynn McDonald chapter 1 . 6/10/2014 *speechless* *speechless* *speechless* *assays to speak, to find something to describe this piece of work* *fails* *bows, and claps in appreciation* |
A. Heimby chapter 1 . 5/15/2014 I love stories that emphasis how much of a BAMF John is, and I must say, I think so far yours do it the best :) |
lisa.ryanz1oh1 chapter 1 . 4/1/2014 Thank you for this story. It really helps with an insight into the mind and EQ of both John and Mycroft at just this exact stage of their relationships with Sherlock. Your analysis of both characters presented is, I think, absolutely perfect. I just reached an absolute Sherlockian clarity when I'd finished reading it. Thanks for that. Had fun reading all your Sherlock stories. :) Best, Lisa. |
Graffiti-Kami chapter 1 . 2/23/2014 Yes, John does the impossible without even trying. It's awesome. |
Hannaly chapter 1 . 11/26/2013 I love that Mycroft was taken down a few hundred pegs by John, but I kind of feel slightly sorry for him: he's about to lose his brother due to a mistake he made, and he may not know Sherlock's still alive for three years, poor man. The guilt he must feel when Sherlock jumps. But I LOVE John, and how you've managed to make him super BAMF without having him do anything except talk :D I think this is a brilliant fic (but you've probably already deduced that) and thank you for writing it :D |
jack63kids chapter 1 . 8/31/2013 This is great. I'm unsure how far Mycroft was taken in my Moriarty but, if he was hook-line-sinker, then this fic is where he's at with it all. Really says a lot about Mycroft's inner angst and John's inner-strength too. Very deep and very, very good. 'Mycroft may have been the Iceman, but John was the eye of the storm. ' - oooh, yes! Artfully done. 'The most powerful man in the room. - But not the most frightening. - Tonight, that title belonged to a man who had long since left the building.' - Wonderful! Love the title, love the use of Mycroft's various nicknames. Works like a dream in this fic. |
Heather Snow chapter 1 . 8/22/2013 Interesting, very interesting. And I love the title. |
