A perfect ending to an amazing story. It's an ending that's all worth it.
I try to avoid dramatic stories, especially this kind of drama, whenever I look for a story to read. When I saw your story, I didn't think it would contain this much heart-aching drama. But as I read through the first chapter, I was instantly hooked. Before I even noticed, it was already 2 in the morning before I stopped, already through several chapters. I did not once forget that I was reading drama because almost each chapter, if not each chapter, contained so much chest-tightening drama. Almost always after reading, or while reading, my chest tightens. I never did expect this much emotions that its constricting my poor poor heart.
There were a lot of times where I almost gave up reading the story because of how much emotion and angst you put in your story. Despite that, I always come back reading, excited, hopeful and dreadful to know what'll happen next.
I always consider the Green Goblin as an essential part in Spider-man's growth and development. Different stories portray the Green Goblin differently, but what's almost always permanent is how the Green Goblin pushes Spider-man to develop as a character. The terror that you put into the Green Goblin is something that I don't read in much of the other stories that include the iconic character. So much that I share the fear the characters are feeling in the story.
After twenty-four emotion-filled chapters, I've finally reached the end of the roller-coaster ride. There was a lot of pain, fear and angst, but there were also sweet and lovely moments through-out the story. That's drama after all. You can't have drama without any of those. I'm glad that I gave this story a chance, even though I was so hesitant at first. Not to mention that I got glimpses of Birds of a Feather first and was instantly blasted with emotions on my face that I had to back off. But I'm glad that I did because I wouldn't have been able to read this amazing story. And because of your story, and how you've portrayed Gwen and MJ, I grew to even love them more! So, thank you your hard work and for all the hours you spent writing the story. Reading your story was worth it, really worth it.

Wow. Wow wow wow. I can't say it enough. This was absolutely amazing. The plot, the writing, the character development. Mary Jane - you honored her comic book qualities, the sassiness, the determination, the gutzyness but you also made her yours in a way that was insanely well done.
