Meh! MEH! What?! My heart! And the feels! This is really good and even thigh you said it's the end there are a few loose ends (like Merrik being in the dungeon) I'd love to see tied up. Fantastic story: one of my favorites I've ever read, despite the heartache. Well done.

You're awful. Cuz I stayed up till 3am reading this. Read it over breakfast and was late for work. And then propped up my phone next to my comp at work so I could continue to read this. I loved this. So much. The format was really cool, flipping back and forth in time, and yet knowing what happened to Merlin things still surprised me. I thought for sure the blueberries would have been the loss of his tongue. Or that Morgana would be aware of him as the trader knew he was Emrys. Past and present worked so well together, and I loved Merlin changing Arthur’s hair color.

This was just - just so well done. *goes to share it*

I meant only to read the first chapter, to satisfy my curiosity. Six hours and one sleepless night later, I've finished all of it. I don't even know what to say, other than that you told a story like no other I've encountered. And it was written in a way that was done so perfectly, telling two halves of one story simultaneously without feeling choppy or out of order. Well done.

I don't know what to say. I am literally speechless. This was quite literally the saddest, emotional, beautiful, brilliant piece of work I have read in probably a couple years, at least. (and with how much I've read, and my too-large-to-be-healthy standards, that is a HUGE compliment).

I can't tell you how many times you literally had me set my phone (cause I had no choice but to read it at work, obviously) to the side because I couldn't breath through my tears. (I had one pretty awkward phone call with my boss right after they came out of the forest in Chapter 6 xD).

This was one of the rare story where I really REALLY wanted to review every single chapter, but I just couldn't stop hitting the "next" button, so I apologize for that. :)
You explained everything oh so perfectly, you never left me hanging (well... since I never had to deal with the waiting of your cliffhangers, you didn't :P ), you portrayed Arthur and Merlin soo in character despite every single thing that had happened to them, it was... well, surprising.

Most stories that I've read where you literally rip a character out of their zone, throw them to the wolves, and beat them till there soul quite literally breaks, end up... well... VERY out of character, to an almost annoying sort of way. However, Merlin... the way you had him still get annoyed with Arthur in his usual way, his friendship with Gwen, his attitude towards everything, was just so... him. I'm not saying he wasn't a depressed complete wreck, who can't ever be the same, because you completely succeeded on that mark, but... wow. Merlin, and Arthur for that matter, were just so completely perfectly done. I don't know how to explain it, but if you were in front of me, I would be bowing and kissing your feet, believe me.

Okay, I'll stop rambling now. I just wanted to let you know that this story will be on my favorites list until the end of my days.

Poor Merlin, what happened to him is revolting and so sad. I've wanted to beat the sh*t out of each of the "masters" but in the end, he can finally be home with Arthur. Thank you for the beautiful (Yes, I know I repeat myself , again, but it really is) story and for sharing it with us!

Wow, such a roller coaster of emotion! For real! Absolutely LOVED this story! You did just a great job with switching back and forth so we could see the story from both threads. Also, you did such an amazing job with Merlin's character. Such a heartbreakingly believable growth of his character under those circumstances. You did an amazing job with the emotion in this story, very realistic and I was able to feel them so acutely. Really great job!
