No offense, but the premise of your story is ridiculous, assuming that you think Harry's adoptive parents have any kind of common sense.
First of all, if his dad is a squib how did he block Harry's magic? Why would he block Harry's magic in the knowledge that he would be weaker for it? Why on Earth would he get Harry to invest all of his time into weapons of that time period when anyone with common sense knows that if you jump forward 100 years in the muggle world things will be vastly different, but if you jump forward in the magical world they will not be? Why would his parents knowingly allow him to put himself at massive risk in the army when he is underage, while maintaining the knowledge that he is needed alive in the future?
Also, why on Earth would you not tell him that one day he is going to have leave abruptly to the future, never to see who he thinks of as family again. That is beyond awful parenting.
I like the setting you chose for the beginning of this story, but you should really have given it more thought.
