There is plenty of dialog between characters that clearly definese hom is speaing, and their emotional state.
You're desrictions of settings are brief, but effective in fast-paced storytelling.
Cons
Reading Arthur's dialog itself, I can assume you may not come from the UK and don't know how British teenagers talk on contray to our elders.
Remedy
Read the British book "Submarine" It's style is similar to yours, and it will imroove your writing of UK dialog I am sure!
