I am enjoying your story so much! I literally stumbled onto Secret Garden fanfic yesterday. I had no idea so many people we as devoted to Dickon as I was.

I think you write Colin's leftover jealousy so well. It was so evident in the original book, and Colin being Colin, I think you wrote him extremely true to character in the earlier chapters.

Do you accept bribes for HEA's? Just kidding. Mostly ;)

All right. I wasn’t going to comment anything until I finished, because this isn’t my typical corner of this fandom; but I have to leave a comment here because I audibly GASPED several(!) times reading this chapter.
This story is so beautifully written and it makes me adore these characters so much. Everyone is so in character, and I’m even over here rooting for Mary and Dickon and feeling bad for Colin, even though I almost never read stuff like this! I’m so happy there is still so much more aheadI simply can’t get enough!
