I don't get why Harry wouldn't warn his own kid what was going to happen when he got to Hogwarts. I mean, after his own experience of NOT knowing what everyone else 'knew' about him, why would he put his own kid through that? I couldn't even finish this.

I really really enjoyed this. It's nice to have a story where Harry's kids find out about him and they aren't immediately angry with him for it. I loved that James was so understanding and mature about it because he knows and trusts his dad. I thought that was lovely and really heartwarming. And that letter at the end was just adorable :) thank you for this!

It's so weird thinking of him as a dad. You know, it's like the thing where kids tend to think their parents' lives centre around themselves and that they had no lives before their children came along... and then you get something written from Harry's son's perspective and it's like. WOAH.
