Awww, that was really cute. I liked seeing Kili portrayed as too awkward and shy to talk to Tauriel; that's a nice change from how he often is shown as being an experienced flirt. For a bit there, I was wondering if Tauriel would fall for Fili instead! The bit where Fili repeats Kili's compliments was really ridiculous and also adorable.

I laughed at Fili's quite bold request that Tauriel "chop off" some of her hair for Kili. I'm not sure how much he really is helping his brother's cause...

This is a fun approach to the situation that I haven't seen before.

This was too sweet! Poor long-suffering Fíli (you'd think he'd be used to dealing with the shenanigans his brother gets up to by now, though?). Kíli is entirely lovestruck and Tauriel is just amused. This was a lovely callback to happier times in the movies, and exactly what I needed post-BotFA. Thank you for the smiles :)
