Well written but why couldn't be a good gideon

I think this was a good ending. It left the team stunned but in all, it was for the best. I so enjoyed reading your story.

I, for one, am glad he's dead. He was unstable when he was on the show. I think he died the only way possible, by his own hand. At least it wasn't Reid who was forced to shoot him.
Good little story.

Gideon just wanted the recognition for killing those people. It took the mighty BAU to catch him. Just wait until he goes to prison. I'm sure some of the unsubs he put away will "catch him," on his hands and knees! I really never liked him. I await your next chapter.

I can see how they would each be lost in their own memories of Gideon and you show this so very well with each of their thoughts. I hope they can come together nor only as a team but as friends to get closure to their feelings on this so that they are not lost in their own personal hell. I can so see how Reid could maybe start doubting himself because of his past feelings for Gideon and for him having to be the one to get Gideon to confess. It seems he will have the hardest time. This man was a father to him and accursed him of being able to kill without reservations just as he did if nothing else but to make himself feel better. Gideon did not care what shape he left Reid in with his thoughts.

I have read this chapter somewhere else. Almost word for word. Did you say you had deleted some of your past work?

I never really liked Gideon. Especially after what he said when leaving Criminal Minds.

Only Reid could have gotten that information/confession out of him. It is sad that Gideon sunk so low as to murder three people. This had to be hard on Spencer. I hope it does not cause him to feel bad about killing in his own self-defense.

But, I'd just like to point out that Nathan Harris was the crazy kid who fantasized about killing woman in the episode Sex, Birth, Death. The kid that Reid was trying to help. If that was him, I'm sure he would have been more affected if he learned that Nathan was killed.

Poor Spencer. That was mean of Hotch to put this onto him but he probably has the best chance of finding out the truth. I so hope Gideon didn't do it, but it doesn't look good for him.
