That was a very engaging story. I had no idea what's going to happen next. The fact that Watson got one over Mycroft in the whistle business had me snickering like crazy! The many years after was nice, I liked Watson's attempt to keep Holmes in London. I'm not sure if I got the last line right, is it a reference to all those strange animals in the snake case?

Every chapter made me smile-when the smile wasn't frozen as my mind struggled to leap ahead and guess what would happen next. I never did guess, but I can't stop trying. Well done! And the last line had me gasping. So good to see you're back!
