This chapter was SO good. I had been hoping for a bit more heated of an interaction between Sherlock and John upon their reunion, but the “I’m in the firing line. I get taken out first whether that’s actually gets to you or not.” bit made my jaw drop—I could so clearly envision that scene, and it was an amazing, if blunt, comeback for John to make there. 10/10! I’m excited to keep reading!

Everything was so clear like another episode of Sherlock in my head. I believed everything any character did or said, dialogues were wonderful, the plot was beautiful. I love your style of writing. Sally Donovan is much maligned for a reason. Her character is unprofessional, petty and abusive. She should be sanctioned and demoted for her regular and very consistent behaviors. Being "cool" in some situations does not excuse her abusive and at times illegal behaviors in others.

Absolutely loved the final scene with Mycroft.

This story is well-written, and then the end of this chapter came... Wow, yeah, it's violent and explicit. Please up the rating on this story to M.
