WHOA - really loving your John, and the realizations Dean is having where he and Sam aren't "quite" a family here. Thanks for dropping hints as to exactly WHEN this took place - Leviathans, Sam's hellucifications, Bobby's vengeful spirit. And I'm gonna agree with Dean, Sam at this age is SO cute!

I haven't read like annnny season 7 fic, because I've been trying to avoid spoilers and I'm literally 3 years behind in watching. I just finished season 7, so look at all the great fic I get to catch up on!

Anyway, what you said here about Dean and Sam losing each other and Sam being less Dean's heart is perfect. I think it's really accurate and in-character, and I just love what you say about John too, because I think that is absolutely spot-on as well.

All around, this is wonderful and of course, totally adorable. :) I really enjoyed it.

I like this story a lot, even when I hate de-aged stories. Though John (or at least the older version of John) is taller than Dean. The younger John (Matt Cohen) is shorter.

I love de-aged fics! I found this really realistic in that Sammy viewed Dean as a stranger at first. I also found the distance Dean had from his brother really moving. Loved the cuddling at the end! Thanks so much for sharing this :)

As I had said before referring Trialculosis, this also made me fangirly squeal. I could easily picture little Sam cuddling up with literally-big bro Dean. And it makes sense, there are times in the series where they forget they are each other's anchors and protect each other for that reason not just obligation. You hit the nail on the head with that one. But yeah, very cute ficlet. Good job - I don't know if you take requests but if you do I may very well make one someday.

I can't remember if I've reviewed this before or not. I probably have, because I've read it about a million times, but just in case- this is PERFECT. You've got both of them exactly as they would be, Dean closed off the way he turned into and Sammy cracking right through it because that's the way they are. Completely adorable.

Geez you tugged at my heart strings on this one. I did find your name and all of your stories. I just loved this one. I can't believe I felt so anxious at Sam being so uncomfortable around a grown up Dean. I guess that's what terrific writing is about. Getting a reader so wrapped up in a story. Looking forward to reading another one.
