I want so badly for Itachi to accept, even if he cannot wrap his mind around, the way that Minato is. Itachi must have a dark side or he never would have thought that making Sasuke feel hatred was a valid way to make Sasuke strong. There has to be a darkness to someone who would use his own brother as an instrument of death/vengeance/suicide. Maybe I am grasping at straws because I like Minato and Itachi and want to see them together.

I eagerly await more chapters and I am dying to see how things evolve.

What crawled up Itachi's a** and died? I loved the intimidation that Gaara and the others did on Kazekage-sama. On that thought I'm quite excited to read this sequel.
